Hope Springs Eternal

"Hope humbly then; with trembling pinions soar;
Wait the great teacher Death, and God adore.
What future bliss He gives not thee to know,
But gives that hope to be thy blessing now.
Hope springs eternal in the human breast:
Man never is, but always to be, blest.
The soul, uneasy and confin'd from home,
Rests and expatiates in a life to come."

-Alexander Pope

I like this painting...
It's titled, Hope Springs Eternal.
It makes me remember that Tikva's spirit
And my own
Are able to mingle together in all that is,
Even if I am still in my body
And Tikva is already fully in spirit.

Words I had to look up:

pinion: the outer part of a bird wing including the flight feathers
(makes me think of Tikva in the red tail hawk)

expatiate: speak or write at length of in detail
(makes me think of all these words flowing out of me onto my blog)
